Inside the Table, words are actions. A message sent is a marker placed.
Speak plainly, speak with care, and never speak to wound.

1. The prohibitions
While using any part of the Service, you agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or intimidate any other Member, Adjudicator, staff member, venue operator, or member of the public.
Reveal another Member's real-world identity ("doxxing"). Identity within the Table is sacrosanct. Doxxing is grounds for immediate expulsion.
Engage in or glorify real-world violence. References to real weapons, armed confrontation, or paramilitary activity are forbidden inside missions, Comms, Forum and Council channels.
Post or send hate speech or content targeting people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected characteristic under EU law.
Post or send sexual content involving minors of any kind. Zero-tolerance. Will be reported to competent authorities.
Engage in commercial solicitation within Comms or Forum channels — no advertising, cold-pitching, or unauthorised promotion.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to manipulate gameplay, endorsements, voting, or Quiver balances.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or exploit the Service beyond what is offered to ordinary Members.
Impersonate another Member, an Adjudicator, an Elder, law enforcement, an emergency service, or any public official.
Post content that is unlawful under the law applicable to you or to the Operator.
2. The affirmations
You will assume good faith before assuming malice.
You will report breaches rather than retaliate.
You will accept adjudication when it goes against you, and argue your case when it does.
You will keep the Table's affairs inside the Table.
3. Enforcement
Breaches of this Code are reviewed by Adjudicators under the narrative
frame of the game. Available sanctions, in escalating order:
Private notice (narratively: a written Marker)
Temporary Comms mute
Candidacy ban for the current Council cycle
Rank demotion
Temporary suspension from the Service
Permanent expulsion ("the Table burns the marker")
Severe breaches — doxxing, child sexual content, credible threats of
violence, coordinated manipulation of the economy — may result in
immediate expulsion and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement
without prior notice.
4. Circle effects
A Member's conduct may in narrowly defined circumstances affect their
"Circle" — the small group of Members linked by recruitment. Examples
include temporary visibility loss or cooldowns on shared contracts.
Collateral effects are disclosed at sign-up and form part of the
Terms of Use.
5. Appeals
Sanctioned Members may appeal by writing to
adjudication@thehightable.international
within 14 days of the sanction. Appeals are reviewed by an Adjudicator
who did not impose the original sanction. The Operator's decision on
appeal is final as regards the in-Service fiction; your statutory rights
as a consumer are unaffected.
6. Reporting
To report a breach, use the report button on any message or Dossier, or
contact abuse@thehightable.international.
Serious misconduct may also be reported via the
whistleblowing channel. We treat reports
confidentially.
// No harassment. No doxxing. No weapons. No bots. No hate.
